The last full week of term was jam packed for Year 3. They were treated to two absolutely fabulous nativities, performed by EFYS and Year 2. They wrapped up their learning about the prehistoric ages with an archaeological mystery, in which they examined artefacts and clues from an burial site to draw conclusions about who was buried there. They completed their Celtic warrior shields and had a blast re-enacting a battle charge in the playground. The children completed a project about their carbon footprint and examined different ways we can minimise our impact, at home as well as at school. They presented their geography learning about climate zones, time zones and and continents to each other, and created some fantastic art based around the layout of prehistoric Iron Age settlements. The children rounded of their last full week of the Autumn term with a class Christmas party. What a week!
