We've had another busy week packed with exciting learning in Fern class! In Maths, we delved deeper into fractions, focusing on comparing and ordering unit and non-unit fractions. In English, students began to master their list-making skills by selecting the five most crucial items necessary when packing for an adventure. Their task was not only to choose these items but also to articulate why each was deemed essential. In P.E., students dedicated their efforts to refining the fundamental skills required for running and throwing, which are important in many sports. Students became Volcanologists in Geography, researching how volcanic eruption affects people and landscapes. Students completed their algorithm in Computing by making keyboard notes. We concluded the week with a visit from 2 John's, who provided invaluable guidance on online safety. Their visit equipped students with essential knowledge on navigating the digital world responsibly and seeking assistance if ever faced with online challenges.
