A Very Busy Week in Fern

We started the week focusing on 'Promises' and discussing why they are important. Students also discussed the details of Jesus's baptism and created a beautiful piece of artwork showing their understanding of the event. In Maths, students did a mix of independent and pair work with the aid of concrete materials which further developed their understanding of addition and subtraction. Exploring the use of colour, students observed paintings carefully and then mixed and recorded the colours within them. We closed the week off by continuing to practise excellent gymnastics in P.E. and exploring the human skeleton in Science.
