WB 27.11.23
This week was a very busy week across the school, as it was assessment week. The children sat assessments in Maths, English and Spellings, but they still managed to fit in lots of practical learning. Cherry tree class role-played the end of the Bronze Age, and researched the causes of the transition into the Iron Age. They also began planning a more complex stop motion animation project in computing, and visited the school library to choose their new reading books for the weekend. The first of December brought with it the start of festive activities at St Joseph's, which is now full to the brim with Christmas trees, Christmas hoops, Nativity scenes and advent calendars. We are looking forward to see what next week will bring!
