It is National Coding Week and Year 2 have been very busy taking on the role of Computer Programmers! The children created algorithms for a programme called 'Beaver Achiever'. They created step by step instructions for the beaver to carry out various tasks in the game. 

In our RE topic if beginnings, we have been discussing the importance and power of prayer. We learnt that prayer is something we can do anywhere! We can talk to God whenever we want to 'speak' with Him. The children discussed why prayer was important to them. Rose class gave a variety of answers, however one really thoughtful answer was: "when I feel sad or lonely, I know God always listens to me."

We have been learning to estimate number on a number line. We created a number line outdoors and place our numbers between the intervals on the number line.
