As a part of our invason topic, the children made Anglo-Saxon bread and soup. They used different skills of cooking to prepare a delicious meal.
Parliament week - Children have been looking at the Parliament and different houses in the Parliament. We watched a video and took a virtual tour of the Parliament.
Rememberance Day - Children made their poppies, watched a live assembly on BBC They also held a two minutes silence remembering all the unknown soldiers. As a class we placed our wreaths in front of the cenotaph.
As a part of other faith week, we have been learning about Judaism. We had a special visitor Rabbi Jordan, who shared with us information about Judaism. He also taught us a Jewish hymn and a special Jewish prayer.
Olive class — Fantastic experience at the pizza express, where tour little chefs got an opportunity to make their own pizzas and also eat them.
