This week, Chery Tree class have covered a huge range of learning. They spent the week finishing off a non-chronological report about crocodiles, then copying it up in their neatest handwriting, and arranging it on a poster with images and a title. The outcomes were fantastic! The children recapped measuring in cm and mm this week in maths, and investigated magnetic forces and materials in science. The children tested a variety of materials, and concluded that metals are magnetic - but not all metals! In computing, they continued their programming, this week learning about sequencing sounds, and how different commands affect their sequences. In geography, Cherry Tree class had an amazing time learning about fossils, and then creating their own, which they got to take home! We also continued our athletics lessons by practising our long jump techniques with great success. Well done Cherry Trees!
