Dancing into half-term break!
As the saying goes... work hard, play hard. Students worked diligently on completing their final Science project which investigated the importance of warming up our muscles in sports. Learning how to add and subtract with exchanges was the focus of our Maths lessons. Students then enjoyed a workshop from members of the Metropolitan Police Force, learning about how to keep themselves safe and the role of police officers in the community. The students were ecstatic when they got the opportunity to try on various items from the police kit. In English, students wrote and performed a gorilla-themed free verse poem which included various features such as similes and metaphors. Finally, students put their dancing shoes on and showed their amazing dance moves, enjoying a fun-filled Disco Night.
