Star of the Week - Olivia Kindness Ambassador - Elykiah The Resilience Award - Amarachi
In our English learning, students used their research and crafted their non-chronological report about crocodiles in their very best handwriting. Following this, they determined the layout and enthusiastically arranged it on a poster with images and a title. An exciting learning experience unfolded in Science as we embarked on a walk around the school to investigate magnetic materials. All agreed that metals are magnetic but not all metals! They recapped measuring in cm and mm in Maths and in our IT learning, we delved into programming, employing motion blocks to create a captivating sequence of sounds. Wrapping up the week on a high note, in Geography, we engaged in an incredible fossil lesson, learning how they are formed. Each student had the opportunity to create their unique dinosaur fossil, which they will soon take home. We also continued our athletics in P.E. by practising our long jump techniques with great success. Amazing effort!
