In the final week of a busy half term, Fern Class have made the most of every minute. They played a fantastic game of rounders against Cherry Tree class, which was brought to an exciting finish with an amazing rounder scored by Mr Campbell! The children participated in the May procession, and sang beautifully as they circled the playground before laying their flowers in front of the statue of Mary. As part of National Numeracy Day, the class participated with thousands of school children across the country in an online workshop, learning a dance, and completing a budgeting task in which they had £20 to shop for ingredients for dinner. They joined another workshop led by an architect, as part of National Numeracy day, to learn about what it would be like to work in a maths focused career! As part of their science learning, the children identified and sorted seeds according to how they are dispersed, and they had a fantastic time debating their choices in RE. A very busy end to a very busy half term. Have a fantastic break Fern Class!
