This week the children continued their learning about the Egyptians, their lives and the qualities of a Pharaoh. In Maths they learnt about angles and its turns.
Trip to British Museum -- The Yr4 children enjoyed their trip to the British Museum. They got an opportunity to look at British Museum's best-known collection items come from Egypt, each with their own unique story. In addition, they attended a seminar on Egypt and learnt how artefacts can teach us a lot of information. They discovered everything you ever wanted to know about the tablet that unlocked the secret of Egyptian hieroglyphs.
Local area Week - the children learnt about Elizabeth Fry and made sketches of her. They also looked at the similarities and differences between the pictures in our local area.
